An event dedicated to the Independence Day was held

The presentation of books of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, published jointly with foreign scientific centers and universities, and dedicated to the Independence Day on May 28 was held today at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS. The presentation was attended by employees of the Institute, along with local guests, foreign guests attending the event online and representatives of several foreign embassies operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Director General of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, Ph.D., Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh welcomed the participants and greeted them. She gave detailed information about the scientific achievements of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, joint activities with foreign scientific and educational institutions, jointly published scientific books and monographs, and said that a number of projects and reforms are planned to further develop these relations.
The vice-president of ANAS, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva congratulated the participants on the Independence Day and spoke about the history and philosophical essence of this day. He also spoke about the relations of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology with foreign scientific and educational institutions, and praised the work done through joint cooperation. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Azerbaijan Egidijus Navikas, Acting Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan Ding Tao, Cooperation Adviser of the French Embassy in Azerbaijan and Director of the French Institute in Azerbaijan Jerome Kel, Political, Economic, Press and Information Adviser of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Crtomir Peter Fishinger Expressing satisfaction with the invitation, the guests thanked the management of the institute for the hospitality and congratulated the participants on the occasion of Independence Day.
