Colleague of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology Faig Alakbarli attended the congress in Antalya

The International Antalya Guide and Turkish Studies Science and Art Congress by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality on May 6-8, 2022 was held.
Leading researcher of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, Ph.D., associate professor Faig Alakbarli also took part in the congress.
According to him, many scientists from the Turkic world have also been invited to the congress. At the Congress, scientists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and other Turkish countries (Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bican Ercilasun, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Önder Bilgin, Prof. Abdullah Temizkan, Assoc. Dr. Kayrat Belek, Prof. Ahmet Aksoy, Prof. Mustafa Aksoy et al.) made interesting reports.
Speaking at the congress on "Turanism and Iranism in the minds of Turkish intellectuals", Alakbarli said that the formation of Turanism and Iranism in modern times was not accidental. According to him, it is important to re-examine the notions of "nomadic people" formed about the Turkic peoples, instead of "farmers" in relation to the Iranians.
