Philosophical and legal teachings and sovereignty

The head of the Department is Doctor of Law, Professor Gurbanov Habil Surkhay.

The Department was established on April 1, 2025. The Department is called “Philosophical-Legal Teachings and Sovereignty”.

Main scientific directions are the analysis of the development of philosophy and law in historical periods, the creation of integration between both sciences, as well as the mechanisms of action such as bringing the issue of sovereignty to the fore.

There are 6 employees in the department, 1 of them is Doctor of Law Sciences, 4 of them are Doctors of Philosophy (PhDs), and 1 computer operator.
