Researcher Ilham Abbasov presented archival information about Azerbaijani partisans of the Second World War

Numerous archival materials collected over the years - photos, documents shed light on the fate of our compatriots who took part in the guerrilla movement in France, Italy, the former Yugoslavia and other European countries in the middle of the last century.
Very valuable archival materials were demonstrated at the exhibition held in Baku yesterday. The organizer of the exhibition told about each of the heroes who became very close to him during his years of research.

"These people died in the struggle against the German occupiers. Unfortunately, we do not know enough about them. I think our heroes deserve to be recognized and remembered, "he added. The researcher stressed that he attaches great importance to the succession of generations, and as an example, pointed out that two of our national heroes who died in the First Karabakh War were nicknamed "Mikhailo" in the city of partisan Mehdi Huseynzade.
Today, he plans to continue his search and compile all the information he has obtained into a monograph. However, the project, which is implemented on a voluntary basis, is going slowly to implement for obvious reasons.
